Strengthening risk culture remains a key priority for the Swiss financial sector.

To meet the growing demand for strong expertise in risk management and internal control, the Institut Supérieur de Formation Bancaire (ISFB) and the Swiss Risk Association (SRA) have launched a strategic collaboration. This cooperation starts with the launch of the Certificate in Internal Control and Risk Management, which provides participants with a full understanding of FINMA’s fundamental requirements in terms of corporate governance, risk management and internal control, as defined in particular in Circular 2017/1.

The aims of this educational course are to provide an in-depth understanding of internal control and risk management in the financial sector, especially in Switzerland, using the best industry practices as well as the Swiss regulatory framework. It addresses the main risks encountered in modern finance.

About ISFB

Founded in 1987, the ISFB is today recognized as the Competence and Career Centre for banks and financial institutions in French-speaking Switzerland. The Swiss Risk Association (SRA) brings together leading experts in risk management, while the ISFB unites the foremost specialists in banking. Through our certificate programmes, the two spheres of expertise converge, with several speakers actively contributing both to ISFB and SRA.
