The Romandie Chapter was established in September 2022 to create a structured regional platform for risk management professionals, serving both individual and corporate members. Its mission is to deliver a value proposition aligned with the region’s core business sectors, particularly Private Banking, Wealth Management, and Commodity Trading.
Since its inception, the Chapter has developed into a recognized and impactful platform for risk professionals. Engagement has grown steadily, reflected in the expansion of its event program to 11 events in 2025.
Building on this momentum, and in response to the increasing complexity, sector-specific regulatory developments, and distinct risk profiles of these industries, a strategic decision has been made to establish two specialized Chapters. This evolution will enable a more focused, relevant, and high-quality offering tailored to the specific needs of each sector.
- The first Chapter will be dedicated to Risk Management in Private Banking and Wealth Management.
- The second Chapter will focus on Risk Management in Commodity Trading activities in Switzerland, primarily concentrated in Geneva, Vaud, and Zug.
This structure will strengthen expertise, enhance member value, and ensure continued relevance in an evolving risk landscape.
