As ESG regulations evolve across Switzerland, the EU, and globally, financials institutions must adapt to new standards and data requirements. In this event our presenters will provide an overview of key regulations, including the upcoming FINMA regulations set to take effect in January 2025 and give guidance for the necessary ESG data collection and climate risk information.
André Dylan Kohler will give an overview of the upcoming ESG regulation in Switzerland and shares best practices for implementation and criticality of data availability. With his waste client experience, he’ll share guidelines and provides directions in the often overwhelming ESG regulations.
Simone Rampichini shares a deep dive about CRIF ESG data, including how to manage biodiversity, physical and transition risk. Explore CRIF’s Synesgy platfrom on how they collect sustainability primary data from banking clients while providing practical examples from global banking customers. To finish, CRIF’s Synesgy Global Observatory based on the globally available Synesgy ESG data will be introduced and key findings shared with the audience

Simone Rampichini is the Senior Director of SynESGy at CRIF. With over two decades of experience in business consulting and risk analytics, Simone brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his current position. Before leading SynESGy, he served as the Director of Global Business Information at CRIF, where he was instrumental in driving business growth and innovation. Simone’s extensive background in sales leadership, customer engagement, and decision support systems has made him a key player in the industry. In his role as insurance sector leader, he is responsible to connect EY’s insurance practitioners in Switzerland, and helping ensure that EY is at the forefront of industry hot topics, serving EY clients in the areas of Audit, Consulting, Tax and Corporate Finance.
In his role as Financial Services Risk Consulting leader practice he helps Financial Services clients address their risk and regulatory challenges for all relevant risk categories such as financial risks (e.g. market, credit, liquidity) and non-financial risks (e.g. strategic, operational, compliance, reputational).
For over 23 years, he has been successfully advising Swiss and global financial service institutions on their risk, compliance, control and internal audit transformation journeys. Before joining EY in 2006, he worked as an internal auditor for a global insurance company and as an external auditor for a Big4 company.
André gained a master degree in Business Administration in Lisbon (ISEG) and Birmingham (University of Birmingham) and is a Swiss Certified Public Accountant.
