Summary

Nature-related risks are rapidly reshaping financial markets, regulation, and investment strategies. This Swiss Risk Association event brings together leading experts to explore how these risks can be quantified, transferred, and managed effectively.

Participants will gain insights into:

  • Innovative risk transfer solutions: How PERILS indices can serve as a foundation for securitization and insurance-linked instruments.
  • Portfolio resilience: The role of catastrophe bonds and diversification in managing exposure to natural hazards.
  • Financial market implications: How catastrophe risk is priced, traded, and integrated into global capital markets.
  • Regulatory and fiduciary challenges: Navigating FINMA requirements on nature-related financial risks while balancing return expectations and capital constraints.

Join us to understand how nature-related risks are evolving from emerging concerns into core components of financial decision-making—and what this means for risk, investment, and compliance professionals.
