Be prepared for an engaging and inspiring event spotlighting female leaders who are shaping the future in their industries.
Our panelists will explore how leaders harness emerging trends, adapt to shifting regulatory demands, and foster collaboration to stay ahead of the curve. Our distinguished speakers will share their experience, revealing how they have built the skills and confidence to turn uncertainty into opportunity.
The event will open with Claudia Flury, Chief Risk Officer at Zurich Switzerland, and will feature Olga Briukhova, Senior Consultant at Finyon Consulting AG and Executive Committee Member of the Swiss Finance Institute Alumni Association, as the moderator.

- Päivi Rekonen, Chair of the Board of Directors at Amina Bank AG ​
Päivi Rekonen is a board director currently serving as Chair of the Board of Directors at Amina Bank AG and on the boards of Konecranes Plc, Wipro Ltd and IMD. She is a member of various board committees, including audit, strategy, and HR/Nomination.
Päivi Rekonen has broad global expertise in technology innovation, digital transformation, strategic planning, and international market expansion.
Previously, she served on the boards of WithSecure Plc., Alma Media Plc and Efecte Plc. Prior to joining boards, she held global leadership roles at companies such as UBS, Adecco, Cisco, and Nokia.
She holds a MSc in Economics and Business Administration and a MSc in Social Sciences from the University of Jyväskylä, Finland. - Maya Bundt, Multiple Board Member​
Maya Bundt is a senior leader and experienced board member with expertise in cyber, innovation, and governance. She is on the Board of Directors of Baloise Group (audit committee), Valiant (chair of the nomination and compensation committee), and APG SGA (audit committee). Since 2024 she is also the president of the Steering Committee for the Implementation of the National Cyber Strategy and she chairs the Cyber Resilience Chapter of the Swiss Risk Association.
During nearly 20 years at Swiss Re, Maya held roles in IT, Strategy, and Reinsurance. From 2014, she led the development of Swiss Re’s cyber insurance strategy, building the Cyber and Digital Solutions function and chairing the Swiss Re Cyber Council. She left in 2022 to focus on board mandates.
Maya actively supports national and international initiatives on digital economy and cyber risks. She is a member of digitalswitzerland’s Cyber Security Commission, and a partner for Governance of Digital Risks at the International Center for Corporate Governance. She has published extensively on cyber resilience and risk governance. - Eva Maybud, Managing Director CFO & Enterprise Value at Accenture
Eva Maybud is a finance and risk strategy professional with nearly 20 years of experience. She has developed expertise in financial and risk management, strategy consulting, and transformational change in diverse industries, including banking, energy, and infrastructure. She has successfully driven projects in Finance, Treasury and Risk including innovative projects to make IoT work by bringing Finance Processes closer to Payment Processes using blockchain technologies. She is actively including AI technologies in her services as an additional value lever.
Her academic credentials include advanced studies in European and International Business Law, blockchain technology, and board responsibilities. This combination of technical expertise and strategic acumen positions Eva as a transformational leader committed to delivering excellence and innovation in the financial sector. - Birgit Rutishauser,
Birgit Rutishauser, an ETH Zurich mathematics graduate and certified actuary (SAV) with a MAS in Finance, has built a distinguished career in the insurance and regulatory sectors. After holding senior leadership roles at Zurich Switzerland and Nationale Suisse, she joined FINMA in 2016 to lead the Risk Management division, overseeing insurance risk models and the Swiss Solvency Test. In 2018, she was appointed Head of the Insurance Division and a member of FINMA’s Executive Board. As from January 2019 she was Deputy Director. From October 2023 to March 2024, she served as Director ad interim before resuming her role as Deputy Director in April 2024. ​
