We are proud to announce some new faces in he board of directors of the Swiss Risk Association:

  • Dr. János Blum, who has been board member since 2019 has been elected president of the board of directors. He takes over from co-presidents and SRA founders Sandro Schmid and Dr. Walter Farkas. We are delighted that both will stay in the board of directors and bring in their expertise as chapter chairs. Read more about Janos here.
  • Dr. Kathrin Anne Meier, former CRO at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS) and former CRO and board member at Allianz Risk Transfer (ART). She has recently authored a book and will join the board of directors and also act as chapter chair for Non-Financial Risks, also strengthening our standing outside the financial industry. First event on 30. September.
  • Dr. Marc Ryser, COO Group Compliance & Operational Risk at UBS has more than 20 years experience in banking and risk management. He is a former partner and Head of the Financial Services Risk Advisory practice at EY. Marc’s expertise spans across financial and non-financial risk management (quantitative modeling and AI, model governance, risk management frameworks, governance & processes and regulation). We are delighted that he joins the board of directors.

We would like to take the opportunity and thank the leaving board members Pratibha Vikas, Thomas Herrmann and Giselle Lim for bringing in their expertise, ideas and ressources in the last years.
