The Swiss Risk Association (SRA), under the leadership of Jean-Pierre Colombara, launched its activities in Romandie in autumn 2022. Since then, this initiative has developed into a resounding success: by 2024, the SRA had already hosted 10 events in the region and welcomed 11 local corporate members.

In line with its strategy to further expand and consolidate its footprint in Romandie, the Presidium of the Swiss Risk Association is pleased to announce the election of Philippe Fleury as a new member of the Board.

This appointment reflects the Association’s strong commitment to deepening its activities and presence in the region. Philippe will work closely with Jean-Pierre Colombara to drive this next phase of growth.

Philippe brings to the Association not only a broad professional network and excellent communication skills, but also extensive expertise in managing legal, regulatory, reputational, and compliance risks. He holds a double master’s degree in Arts and Law and was admitted to the Geneva Bar in 2002.

Currently, Philippe serves as Group Head of Compliance at the Pictet Group, where he draws on more than 20 years of experience in regulatory risk management. His previous roles include CEO of the Fédération des Entreprises Romandes (FER), Head of KPMG Geneva, and Head of Regulatory & Compliance Forensics at KPMG. Earlier in his career, he also served with the Federal Department of Finance, as Head of the Section responsible for licensing and supervising financial intermediaries (DUFI), and as a member of the Executive Committee of the Swiss Money Laundering Control Authority.

With his wealth of experience and proven leadership, Philippe will make a significant contribution to advancing the Swiss Risk Association’s mission in Romandie and beyond.

The Presidium and the Board warmly welcome Philippe to the Board and looks forward to working together for the continued growth and success of the Swiss Risk Association.
