Keynote: Oliver Buschan

Oliver Buschan is Head of Retail Banking & Capital Markets, Member of the Executive Board of the Schweizer Bankiervereinigung (SBVg). He will talk about relevant risk topics.

Oliver has many years of experience at various banks and in financial market supervision. He combines extensive knowledge of banking business as well as financial market regulation. He began his career at Credit Suisse, where he held various positions in IT, controlling and as an investment consultant, before moving to FINMA in 2000. After 11 years at FINMA in various management roles, he moved back to the financial sector in 2011, where he led complex reorganization, innovation and digitalization projects. An economist by training, his most recent position at UBS was Head of Corporate Governance, where he was responsible, among other things, for organizational development projects and UBS’s overall policy framework.
