Senior Manager Regime

Summary

After the recent turmoil in Switzerland in context with the Credit Suisse debacle, FINMA executives have voiced the need for a Senior Manager Regime (SMR) along the lines of what is currently standard in the UK. This request has been reflected by the Swiss Bankers Association and even UBS CEO Sergio Ermotti has addressed it in several of his recent speeches. This event will focus on the pros and cons of such a regime and draw from the experience the speaker has gained by working with Senior Executives and the UK Regulator over the last few years.

• Point out strengths and weaknesses of such a regime in general and the UK one specifically
• Elaborate on recent findings in Executive Assessment which could support design of an SMR

David is based in the London office and operates globally. With over 25 years experience in Executive Search, he has been appointed to the C-Suite of some of the worlds largest financial institutions and PE backed fastest growing businesses. David has a strong focus on risk management since 1996 and is experienced in leadership assessment and pre acquisition leadership due diligence.

Prior to MU he co-founded an award-winning start up that quantitatively measured corporate culture, clients included global banks and management consultancies. He established UK, Middle East cross border accelerators for entrepreneurs. David worked with clients in five continents and lived in two.He founded, built and sold a large UK Executive Search firm.
