Summary
Digitalization is a multifaceted buzzword which bears many advantages and lots of still untapped potential. But there are always two sides to the medal – Digitalization also brings new risks. Join us to shed light on Digital Risk from 3 perspectives:
- Academic: David Basin, Head of ETHs Information Security group, will present latest academic achievements using foundations such as mathematics, algorithms and probability theory. He focuses on network security.
- Political: Josef Dittli, Council of States at The Federal Assembly, will share political and regulatory insights. What is the role of the state, which infrastructures are critical and where does Switzerland stand from the perspective of a parliamentarian?
- Industry: Pavol Cvengros, CTO and Co-Founder at securCom, will show a practical example of Digital Risk when using Skype-like communication channels. In his presentation, he will advise on how to protect against such risks, possible alternatives, and what the future brings.
