Summary
The most advanced artificial intelligence (AI) approaches are often as opaque as they are powerful. This creates a risk that results will be misinterpreted or misused. Across the world, financial service regulators are contemplating banning or restricting the use of AI techniques whose results cannot be interpreted or explained. But what is “explainability” and how can this be achieved for complex models? In this session, we will explore current methods and research in the field of explainable AI.
