Today institutions are facing a multitude of business and operational challenges, driven by complex regulation, technological change, new era of competition, changing customer demand and behaviors as well as cost pressures.
The current risk, control and assurance landscape (e.g. Legal, Internal Control/SOX, Risk Management, Compliance, Internal Audit) within many organizations is the result of organic growth rather than systematic and structured entrepreneurial planning. In this event, we will we will share and discuss current best practices on how to improve collaboration and alignment between the different risk, control and assurance functions in order to improve effectiveness of the overall framework, clarify roles and responsibilities but also how to eliminate redundancies to reduce overall costs of risk and control.
